SymphonicJazz International will excite and enrich your symphony orchestra programming. This unique blending of Jazz standards combines a symphony orchestra with Jazz instrumentalists, and a Jazz vocalist.  The musical arrangements are exciting, challenging and will engage your musicians and the audiences alike.

The world premiere took place on July 9 and 10, 2008 in Bari, Italy with the Orchestra Sinfonica della Provincia di Bari.  The first performance took place in a castle for the audience of Bari and the second was in a private villa on the Adriatic seaside as a fundraising effort for the Italian Red Cross.

The Musical conductor is Richard Dunscomb, a well known and highly respected musician and educator, who expertly combines classical and Jazz music into a transforming musical presentation.  The musical arranger is Thomas Gunther, a musician of exceptional talents as a Jazz pianist and composer.   His skills in orchestration and improvisation provide a fascinating array of musical entertainment.  The featured vocalist, Bobbi Wilsyn, a superb Jazz singer, who combines the rhythms of Jazz and the sultriness of the standard Jazz lyric with the colors of symphonic orchestration.  You may review their entire bios on this site as well as a list of the music available for performance.
